At a guess I'd say these are old stock but as @velofrog points out there could be different parts that have been pulled together to build the forks. Still pretty cool and I bet you can get seals for them too.
Yeah, I was a tad disappointed to find the actual weight of the z4 flylight was not exactly flylight.
Seems a steep price for an obsolete, pretty base model fork to be fair. Yes they should be spotless but what really matters is how well they work and I'm willing to bet a used Z1 or Z2 puts them to shame for a fraction the cost even if they do have a few battle scars.
Well that's bizarre! I guess they really delved into the parts store or acquired some old stock somehow. As stated here, these were bottom of the range and not the best BUT if you're into servicing forks, it's probably - just about - worth picking some up for spares and parts.
