Im not sure of the exact dates, but in '96, Trek/Klein in essence dropped the "true" classic Adroit with the 2" diameter downtube. And in the '97 model year, the "Adroit" used the previous year's Attitude frame, and the "Attitude" used a combination of the previous year's Pulse and Attitude frames. It got really confusing as well because there were suddenly 3 variations of both Attitudes and Pulses = Pro, Race and Comp versions of each. Needless to say, the results of the buyout and the Klein brand is now history...
