In the bowels of my LBS a cracking collection of old bikes has been collected in a small museum. My LBS is an original Raleigh dealership from way back in the day. Probably one of those very ones you’d have been measured up for a frame that was too big for you in your youth! I’ve been invited into the museum a few times but on the last occasion I asked if next time I could take my camera with me and get some shots to share with you gentleman. So here are a few pictures.

Being an old Raleigh dealership I thought it only right to take an old friend with me too.

All polished up ready for the RetroBike Ride this Saturday at Cannock.

Hope you enjoyed the museum vist too.

Red Raleigh Tomahawk was my first bike. I'd had it for about a fortnight when a huge bubble swelled out of the carcass of the rear tyre that I'd managed to get down to the canvas due to an obsession with skidding at full speed for as long as I could.

I still like skidding :D

Thanks so much for posting that, Awesome:)
I would love to see that in the flesh. I saw on one of the brocures there my first proper bike mentioned: the Raleigh Roadrunner. Cool bike, very chunky, cool colour scheme and risers. Sometimes wish I still had it, or better, an adult size version. (now there's an idea for a build...hmmm)

Some fantastic stuff in there and your Dyna looks very much the king of the hill as it were:)

Thanks for posting the pic's up :D I had partly forgot what my first bike looked like, it was a Raleigh Stiker in yellow  My Dad changed the forks & made in look just like a BMX in 1982 I think it was when BMX's started to hit the UK market. God I loved that bike but sheared off the forks at the head tube after a big jump

Is that LGF on the front page of the mag
