Superb. A feast of visual interest, not just the bikes. A slice of British social history long gone. I love the shots of the streets with the long perspective, captures the essence of smoggy 40s and 50s Britain.

Fantastic - thanks for posting this. I know Chisenhale road as my son went to nursery nearby. I squinted desperately at the others pictures trying to locate them but couldn't place any conclusively.

I wish the roads were as car free now!
