My tribute to the two best bike shops in Newcastle and yes i'm biased
This is something i've been looking forward to building for a while now,my Dentons Cycles.
This shop was what first got me into mountain biking in the late eighties,so to finally have one of there own creations is special for me. With having a bit of time today i was able to give it clean and start the build. The frames in excellent condition and just needs some little bits touched up,which i'll sort out over the course of the build. I've used all the nos Deore DX parts off my 90 Lavadome i sold and added a nos Deore XT front mech and nos Deore ll short cage rear mech. Basically i want as much new parts as possible on this bike saying it's a keeper. Not sure at the moment what pedals to go for but they'll have to be in mint condition So in the meantime i'll start getting the cables sorted and everything set up while i hum and har over what pedals to use. Any suggestions,i don't use clipless pedals because they give me nightmares
