My ti DBR Axis tt is currently shod with judy fsx (Englund air conversion) but I've always had the notion that I'll either change to rigid or use some fox forks. I now have all the options in the shed, so which should I go for? I'm doing the off road London to Brighton and plan to use this bike for that, and was erring on rigid for simplicity and to avoid any issues, but that said I'm still not sure, so should I fit:

Pace RC31 (carbon)
Use rigid (silver)
Fox f100 rlc (grey)
Fox talas rlc (grey)
Stick with the judy fsx?

Pic of the bike as it is and will be aside from fork change in my sig.

Advice please.

Ooh, it's a tie for first and second place. Anyone care to share their reasons behind their votes?

I chose the Judy FSX Ian, as they just bring something to the build the others do not.

The carbon compliments the Ti frame and makes the frame shine, at the same time Judy FSX are subtile in styling.

For me the colour of the FOX would not really lift the frame in any way.

I still miss my set of FOX though

Cheers, I did wonder about the fox colour, but then it's kind of similar to the xtr grey and the tyres and cables are grey too. Maybe I'll have to swap out the forks and take pictures to help decide. Fox forks are certainly much more plush than the fsx even with the air upgrade.

It's a 3 way tie at the moment, with the fsx having caught up after a lengthy spell towards the rear of the field. How will things shake down during the middle of the race?

For London to Brighton offroad you want function over form for a change...

...you'll be glad of it at the end ;)

I commented on the bike in your build thread, but the FSX's are a perfect combination with the frame. I don't think any of the other forks would give you the same aesthetic impact the Judy's do. That being said if you've got some other forks that work better and mean you'll ride the bike more then use them. I'd rather you rode the bike regardless of how nice it looks stationary!

The Judy FSX's look really good, but I dont know enough to comment on the best for the job !
Mind you I'm need of a pair of RC31's and as they will be redundant I'd be glad to take them of your hands for a couple of quid LOL.

By the way...great looking build !

Cheers
Steve
