Sorry, that reads like a bit of a backhanded compliment.its not meant to. Its a lovely crankset looking perfectly in place on a beautiful and tastefully restored bike.

Finding a great condition Dura-Ace 7200 or 7400 groupset is an expensive pastime, I know, I've been there.

Amen. I've been lucky with derailleurs and hubs. I found a restorable set of shifters, but it's getting a bit spendy now for the other bits...
