Possibly tyre width and wheel size versatilty. With disc brakes you can run a smaller diameter wheel with a fatter tyre and vice-versa in the same frame. A lot of gravel bikes work with either 650b wheels with a fat tyre or 700c wheels with a narrower tyre.
For a lower cost, urban type bike, I guess this would also allow you to offer different models with different wheel sizes, based on the exact same frame, which would keep design, manufacturing and tooling costs down.
That says 300 pods are used in each bike. Just last week I ordered 400 and it doesn’t take up much space, and that’s in cardboard boxes too.
300 pods is not very much aluminium at all, so claiming the bike is made from recycled Nespresso pods sounds like a bit of spin
