Neon Yellow 1991 Trek 6000 - very clean

Having seen SYN-CROSSIS` 91 6000 Aluminium on here a few months back I knew I wanted one. I have had my eyes out on e bay etc for a while until JJDegaris posted a for sale link on here. After a bit of negotiation and a trip to Kent I collected this last weekend. The condition is far better than the sale pictures suggested, the paint is bright and unmarked and the spec is virtually 100% original inc saddle.

I have a few plans for it -

- Pair of Black Mavic ceramic SUP wheels on XT hubs
- Panaracer Smoke 2.1 rear
- Panaracer smoke Dart 2.1 front (NOS)
- Flite Ti saddle - need to source
- Atac or Syncros stem in neon yellow or black - need to source
- Suntour thumbies.

Very VERY nice bike that. I've never been a massive fan of Trek..... except for the '91 range. Perfectly proportioned bike and LOUD colour

nice!.....i had a '91 8000, and still own a '91 8700, and i agree 1991 was a good year for treks.....the marbled paint was/is great.....you probably wont need lights either....bonus!.....

The slicks are going ASAP mate. As per the spec at the top I have a nice pair of black rims and some tan wall smoke/darts to go on. Looking forward to having a tinker around and will update thread when complete.
