Future Shock, not the Z-Link if I see it right.

EDIT, nope I havn't got a clue which of the two it really is now...

See
1992 catalouge showing Future Shock design

1993 catalouge showing Z-Link design (which look like the fork here)

But see here showing a Z-link style Future Shock, though I cannot see the link in the pictures by the OP, look larger at the rear so Z-Link ?

EDIT2
I think A2C would tell you (if you know what they should be).

Yeah I would of gone future shock...having owned a set of Z-links, and never being sure of the difference, but the elastomers are a different colour and the front section of the parallelogram was chrome finish.

I thought the Z-links used the cast alloy linkage and sealed bearings where as the future shocks used bushes and steel plate?

The Z-links I sold in the shop came in both black or chrome, I think the black were earlier though

From the catalog links posted it would also look like the Future shocks didnt have the long top out bumper of the Z links but these ones do.

you missed the last part of that off

The fork is a total flop, is never safe to ride, and all stock is dumped into the Straight of San Juan de Fuca.

Retro Heaven, certainly a must have then :xmas-big-grin:
