Devout Dirtbag
ForSale
A bit of a rarity, and very special.
I got it as a frame and parts from John Parker back in about 2002.
Its The Myles Rockwell Reebok Eliminator frame, the one he beat Jason McRoy in that famous race.
Frame is Custom Rockwell sized.
Special parts inc, Team Manitou 3 with 2 legs( as used in that race), Mavic 261 36h ceramic, all the usual Ringle and grafton parts.
Bad points, Stem is Atac, but not Yeti team, and BB is not grafton.
Everything else is as it was.
Myles was reunited with this bike at the Fort William world cup and signed it there. He remarked it was like your first girlfriend, and he'll always have a soft spot for it.
Some ex team items, namely the seat stay brace was handmade and Monkey RIP, got me this from his parts bin, no frame outside of team frames had this.
DKG brake boosters front and rear.
The frame retains some of is sponsor decals.
Rockwell (and Deaton )used the XTR brake levers, with Gripshift, as the Grafton brakes were too small.
XTR M900 mechs.
Ringle Hubs and skewers.
This is a proper piece of MTB history.
Chainrings are XTR. (not paragon- that was not correct for Rockwell)
Selling as its not possible to have all the cool toys in the world. Very reluctant sale, it took me 10 years to get it to the point where I could show Rockwell his old bike.

I would really like £4999, as its such a special bike, but open to sensible offers.
