I'm looking for the following, and have stuff I'd rather swap than sell, but I haven't had chance to get out into the workshop for over a month, so it's a vague list for now...will update tomorrow when I've had chance to get out there and sort it all out!! I need:

Long travel sus forks for a jumps frame (originally it had 110mm travel Drop Off's) and they need to be V brake compatible.

OR a rigid fork that's sus corrected for the above, ie over 100mm travel

Another set of light weight V brakes with levers, plus fixtures and fittings if poss

A nice square taper chainset and ideally it would be a coloured Race Face one, would really like red or green if green existed. Single 36/38T ring on it would suit as well....

May also be wanting a singulator type thing and a single cog with all spacers to fit an 8 speed body, or a nice short cage rear mech, road one would be fine.

From vague memory there's the following for swap:

Magura's, tatty but all there, Avid Solo front disc brake x 2, a modern Deore LX chainset, a 3 piece BMX style set of cranks/ring, various stems inc. a Syncros with no top cap, a large (20") Rocky Mountain full sus frame made of Easton tubing, maybe an Element? Can't remember. A Marin ovation tubing frame, prob. Hawk Hill, 17". Spare modern style and square taper BB's.

No spare rear mechs, but anything else worth asking, and I can try and find it. At the mo I don't have any frame boxes and bigger stuff may have to now go Parcel Farce and be expensive, as I no longer have access to the cheap courier through work, as the courier we were using was....City Link

I've a set of fox vanilla forks, 125r. I bought them off eBay for 60 bin plus a huge 20 postage. Didn't realise they were 125 so too long for anything I have or do. They are fairly tidy with a slight oil weep so would need a service. There is a chip on one stanchion but I don't think it affects them. If they were air forks I'd know more about them and could tell you more aboit the inner workings, but i know nothing about the coil forks im afraid. Since buying them and realising my mistake they've sat in the garage so I'd do them for 60 posted. Oh, they are v brake compatible but no bosses I'm afraid but cheap as chips online.

Re:

Thanks Ian, but not a great fan of Fox as they need a lot of servicing!! And really after something I can whack straight on the bike and go. So over to you Tony, all yours if you want them mate

Re:

Hi Kaz, what about those polished marz forks I have you were interested in?
Can do you swaps on something?

Re:

Niall, I'll message you, had forgotten about them!

Longun, only just got back in from work but will get some pics tomorrow of the frame before I go to work, or when I get back.... It was supposed to be calming down and I should have been having a day off this week!!

Re:

Hey there Kaz :)

I'm not really after much for swops but If you fancy going rigid on the jumps frame I've some cheap DMR forks going that are a bit too burly for what I was building - 440mm legs so bang on what you need.

I just want what I paid for them which was £20 posted? I'll PM some pics over if you're interested..

Re:

Probably sorted for forks, and still haven't sorted through all the bits in the workshop, but here's a couple of pics of the frames, RM is 20" centre to top, and Longun has 1st refusal if sold. However, if anyone has a swap they'd like to offer against it....maybe a small frame of some sort!

Have better and close up pics of both if needed, RM has some paint damage (acid/sweat?) on top tube, and a few chips/rubs. Nice shock though.
