I have to say I am getting less convinced by those windows in the lugs. Can only think of pro SL with any sort of windows.

My 1981 Customer specified Holdsworth built "Claud Butler Classic TT" (made up name, as I've no idea what it really is....)

Re: Frame identification help....I know I know

Well just goes to show what custom builds through up from time to time. I have found some more from the Marlboro era with these windows too, one of them is badged as a CB. I guess it comes down to do all the other frame features fit an early 70's number to be a Holdsworth.

Omg lol ok right my Ribble seat post fits the frame so it’s 531?
And so I thought being a special you had frame made how you wanted ie lugs etc
I’m getting well confused

Re:

So started the rub down prior to paint make sure no hidden nastys under the new paint like filler started with forks to see if we’re Campagnolo drop outs like the rears they are so that’s good but also old paint orange over yellow primer and black(taking anti rust coat) does this help identify or just it’s been orange in the past prancing as holdsworth....

Re:

So week 6 being off work and being impatient I rubbed it all down primed it white left it baking in the sun...couldn’t decide between gold and orange so whent with both
Probably won’t be to everyone’s taste but ford electric orange ticks both boxes for me
Just got to decide on a blue for decal backing panels was thinking rover carribean blue or is there a specific blue for the holdsworth?
What do you think.?

Re: Frame identification help....I know I know

ooh I like that. Are you going with a metallic or a flat blue for the decal panels?

Re:

Thank you was bit unsure but then when sun hits it YES made the right choice and Carribean blue is a blue with touch of green metallic old 90s rover colour I had a rover 220 GTI in it....

Re:

Hi could any one advise me of the Campagnolo version of this BB please
As this is notchy and I used it to keep threads clean in frame
Thanks in advance
