Not negative in any way, just helping you to identify the frame in case of an error by Ellis Briggs.

I worked in a bike shop in the 70's and into the 80's and have come across hundreds of frames from that era and this frame simply sits in that era too. It's a cracking frame though

I know of "triggers broom " but as far as I can see to fit the 1951 build what must have been changed is..... Lugs, Fork Blades, Fork crown, dropouts, seat / chain stays, rear brake bridge, braze-ons and likely the bottom bracket oiler hole closed up.

Would look nice dressed in some correct era kit

i still not getting frame numbers bit but I’ll move on...Well that’s my intention to paint it in an old school scheme gold n cream Ellis Briggs decals but with Campagnolo chorus or mirage as want it to have the silver alloy old look but useable daily

my thoughts exactly, one or two parts replaced but not that many, makes no sense at all.

Nice...want it to look old school but not grandad just tried fit my Campagnolo sciroccos on it front wheel fits,rear wheel no go axel to wide as in frame to narrow between drop outs soooooo what size wheel do these take lol

I’m 51 in 2weeks thought I’d treat myself to an Elisa Briggs but my own as homage to my dad who had Couple Of them as we grew up,but probs should of just bought one already done

Yes exactly my thoughts, really not wishing to be negative at all but there's just too much of it that doesn't fit with early 50's for me (as in pretty much everything) The one posted by Midlife looks much more like a 50's frame. Yours is still a cracking looking frame either way though.
