He even had the Araya RM20 rims i'm after but sadly they were in silver and not the nos anodised version what i want to finish the bike off.

These were what it would have originally come with???, well mine has now, and did have in 1989 too:

Aye i know the silver ones were what came with the bike but i like the look of the anodised with the green it makes it really stand out.

These are the Deore II hubs i've had waiting to be laced upto the anodised RM20's. Once that's done and there on the bike,that'll be the bike finished as to how i would've asked Denton cycles to build it if i'd bought one all those years ago.

All the way from America my new anodised Araya RM20's. Now all i need to do is drop them off at M.Steels in Gosforth and get them built and this project comes to a close. I'm going to teach myself how to ride using no brakes so i don't wear the anodising off the rims
