Im considering my next bike...


Been keeping an eye out for a hack 'nipping to town' bike.. I can't stop bumping into old classics!! What's this? A Mountain Klein... I just need to make sure it's the right size... as it is going to get ridden!

Yes it's going to be dependent on price, hopefully the bell won't be a big job! ... there is other old stuff there including an titanium MTrax for £110 in the wrong size . But also a Technium in my size... the place is a bloody candy store of retrocycles.

Sadly...wrong size and yes lots of tlc required...and for £250 ....I'm out.


The Raleigh Technium is a goer though ... slightly longer seat tube required..but wow it's a really tidy ride... far to nice for a hacker.. but at £100...ancillaries are shite but frame is clean mmmm. Considering that now.

250 for that looks like a nice deal, imho. Looks like an older model with übercool wheels and a very nice color.

These looks so much better in the smaller sizes, but are sadly too firm to ride. They ride terribly, but imho the best looking Kleins.

i'd pay that. Love the early Klein. But i have my modern 26er to build.
