Just to keep you all informed, Alice kindly agreed to let me buy the blue/white 92 Goat and informed me that another forum member has put in a good offer for the red one. I myself will be doing a full build thread on this and will hopefully have pictures up before too long.
I can't wait to get started!!

If you put them on ebay for a 10 day auction they will sell for the right price - that price being whatever those who desire them most are willing to pay. Beautiful desirable bikes that will fetch a tidy sum, your old man had great taste.

Edit - Just saw the above post, nice score, look forward to seeing it restored. I hope we are doing the right thing by this lady who came here looking for help and guidance, and not exploiting her lack of knowledge or expertise in order to nab a quick bargain. Aren't for sale items supposed to be listed with a fixed price in the correct forum?

True, but then you have to put up with all the plonkers/non payers & eBay fees not to mention the ones who then go on to claim the bike is damaged in some way just to get some money back. Or you might get lucky but eBay is a minefield.
At least on here they will go to forum members who will keep the bike's in the light for all to see & look after them well.
