Old School Grand Master
It is with with great shame but needs must, This was going to be my slow build but reality has bit and need to gather some much needed funds... 
So , Up for grabs is my Moutain Goat Whiskeytown Racer frame, Its a 1992 and size 17 frame number is 1792w175 The frame is Tange Prestige & has a 1" headtube, Also has a mech inverter on the seatube
The Frame is in overall very good condition, The paintwork is lovley and shiney. Has a few chansuck marks , decals are in good shape but..... There is 1 area that needs to be conisdered, There are some small rust dots on the seat tube that visually dont look that bad, But under guidance from Chris there are 3 little pin holes within 3 of the dots, A torch shone down the tube brought this to my attention, the 3 dots and pin holes line up which is strange and could be a manufacturing defect ?. I have had a good look and to me looks and also sounds (when tapped with an allen key gently) solid and rings nicely not like an infected rusty area would , This area is in the last picture below
I was going to build this up as my mayhem bike with the intention of a suntour build or black xt. I myself would have no problem riding this as it its, It has such gorgeous paintwork and would build up into an amazing bike.
The frames vital statistics;
Seat tube = 17" CTC & 18.5 CTT
Top Tube = 22" CTC
Head Tube = 100mm
BB = 68mm
Seat post = 26.8
I also have for sale a 1" Shimano 600 headset and Orange F7 forks that I had earmarked for the build.
Price is £140 posted within the UK, Will include my overtop the packaging and fast service Collection is also welcome from Bristol,
