Mountain Goat W'town Racer - DONE!...Pics P2 :)

Evening peeps,
Anyone care to suggest which year this Goat is?
Wads thought it was '96 - but a really close look at the serial number - it might be '93?
The Serial no starts with 1793....we think. It's a 17" frame - the 93 is poorly stamped.
Any clues or signs from any frame features that might give us a clue?
Thanks in advance :)

If the serial number starts 1793 then it's a '93.
Mine is 1593W142 so 15", 1993, Whiskeytown Racer and 142nd bike produced that year I think.

I hope Wads won't mind, but the decals might not be original.
I'd be surprised if they were factory fitted, cos they're not done very well.

not just the decals, though yes, the decals were the type from right before the end. I don't remember there being any indicators that the paint/frame was refinished, unless it was done very well, but then why wouldn't the decals have been done equally well.

Excellent work mate, you have outdone yourself on this one.

Given the length of time it has taken you to get it, and build it to your continued High standards, it deserves a standing ovation.

Keep it up mate.

Respect

Carl.
