Late 70's Motobecane "Super Mirage" road racing bike
23.5" or 59cm sized frame measured from centre of crank to centre of seat pinch bolt ans 23" along the top tube centre to centre with a standover height of 35" .
Nice original pale green paintwork in exceptional condition with contrasting brown decals frame is made from vitus 888 tubing and has pantographed fork tops .
Full original equipment that doesnt look like its had a lot of use over the years . Shimano 600 ultraglide fr mech and 600 rear mech controlled by a nice pr of Shimano band on levers , Motobecane branded alloy double crankset with 170 mm arms made by " Takagi" of Japan with a total of 12 gears to choose from .
Nice narrow 27" alloy wheels with blue label "Rigida" rims laced on to " Atom" hubs with Maillard Quick release both date stamped 79 so 1979 . Fitted with as new 27 x 1 1/8 Continental ultra sport tyres .
100 MM Quill stem fitted to " Motobecane" engraved bars with black leatherette covering to bars and brake hoods . Wienmann brake levers operate "Motobecane" branded calipers that operate nice and smoothly .
SR older style micro adjust alloy seat post that is free to move and adjust ok , Motobecane " super course" is included just not shown fitted to bike . As new black sks guards fitted fr & rr .
