Most comfortable retro saddle?

You cant judge a saddle by looks, some of the comfiest looking saddles have proven to be the most uncomfortable

I find Flites fine, though my Specialized saddle is the one that currently goes on my riders.
Got 2 specialized saddles with DG written underneath, love em. 155mm. No idea if thats related to SDG saddles. Been thinking of trying the more modern Spe’ saddles 155mm sizing. Tried flites, italia’s, Bontrager, Fizik, brooks, avocet, WTB rocket etc etc. All ending with a sore Asz

I find a Flite alright for 10-15 miles after which it becomes an acronym for 'firmly lodged in the exit'. Both Turbos and Selle San Marco Bontragers are a lot more bearable, but personally the WTB SST wins retro saddles for me. Overall though the modern Fabric Scoop Shallow fits best and combined with a decent pair of shorts brings no pain or numbness at all. Everyones arse is different though!

Flites tear me a new one...

the Vetta SL in mtb version with the wider width (140ish) is as comfy as modern wider saddles, comparing with sq lab etc

For me the Avocet Racing 1 saddle is one of my all time favourites and i've still got my original Flite titanium saddle which is really comfortable although doesn't look it would be.
