Mongoose AMP

Hi,

I have allready introduced myselt in the >98 topic with my Trek VRX and Y22 but I also want to post here.

My <97 project (long term) is a 1993 Mongoose AMP.

I am building it and want to fit it with purple/black parts. It is allready fitted with XTR m900, Onza brakes, USE seatpost, cook bros cranks, control tech bar, flite saddle and very cool DT hugi rear hub (sounds great!!! )

The Syncros stem has to go. I think it's to wide at the steerer clamp. I am searching for another one. (Ringle or Atac)

Syncros stem looks awesome, why change it? Is it wider than the bulge or just aesthetically "too wide"?
