Hey fellers.

Has anyone ever heard anything about Huni bikes?
Asking for a friend 😆

A bit of googling brings up:
An MTB sold by a bike recycling charity in Hungary:

A modern bike shop in Croatia

A female German XC racer

A Lo-schmo frame, supposedly built by a German framebuilder.

Somehow I've got a feeling that none of these Hunies have anything to do with each other...

Can't find any other info whatsoever.

Brember Valley shop still open it seems, although their website is down.

Looks like a completely random selection of Huni bikes.
Is it just a racing team that was badging their name on bikes?

So, nobody has experience a taste of Huni? Tasting much sweeter than wine according to some.

Wrote to the brember valley shop asking about hunies, but got no reply. I guess no prospect of a sale = not interested.

I'll have to throw in a retro mtb pic to get the juices flowing.

Not familiar. This jpd on LFGSS seems to know something about Huni? The road frames could have come from the same builder, the MTB; not so sure. From the same Italian shop definitely.

I think it would have been a bit odd if he was building with all-Italian Oria tubing, Gipiemme dropouts, Italian-threaded bb shells.

agree...
Maybe also german frame builder may have used Oria tubes, but for the fast majority of oria based frames had been produced also in Italy.
