Missing Brake Part. Serious?

It was I think a victim of the ice induced crash I had back in January. I went over the bike eventually and found this:



Please excuse the mess and DVD collection. I don’t think I will ever take up ‘Streaming’ or whatever!
Anyway, it is the tiny washer that is missing from the pivot of the lever. The lever has more side to side movement than the other lever. I’m sure it will be one of those things that’ll be exactly the same state in ten years.

I just wanted to check.
