Pace Fan
Hello everyone.
I present to you my Merlin "Mountain" that I have equipped to the best of my ability to make it a very light bike.
Note the P19 sticker to remind you of its 19-pound weight
Frame: Merlin titanium "mountain" 1994 size 20.5"
Fork: Pace RC35, titanium steerer and Upgrade
Stem: Ibis titanium
Bar: Titec titanium
Seatpost: Syncros titanium
Saddle: Italia Evo2 Kevlar
Levers: kooka
Shifters: GripShift SRT800
Headset: Cane creek ( Im looking for a CK 1"...)
Brakes: Avid tri align
Housing: Jagwire silver
Bottom bracket: Syncros titanium
Crankset: TNT + Goldtec 42T titanium chanring ( others is middleburn)
Front mech: Shimano XTR M900
Rear mech: Shimano Dura-Ace RD7402
Chain: Regina superleggera
Wheelset: Mavic X517 ceramique + Spoke DT (very (too) thin) + hub FRM carbon
Cassette : BICI titanium
Tires: IRC geo claw 1.90
Tubes: Maxxis Ultralite 95gr
Pedals : Crankbrothers eggberater
All screws are titanium
The total weight in this setup is 8.675kg, but the spokes are too thin for me.
So when I'm going to ride I put Crossmax 1st gen + maxxis tubes + maxxis 310 tires + the same titanium cassette.
I thus gain 180gr and the complete bike (ready to roll) is at 8.495gr
The photo with the tioga disc drive is just to look pretty, I will never ride with it in my life
