Guy at work used them and the work looked good from the photos, he seemed very happy. I think he spent a lot though.

I had my Track bike re-sprayed there with decals supplied from H Lloyd. VERY good finish, quite expensive but I'm more than satisfied. I would use them again but it would have to be something very special for me to justify the cost (1978/9 Team Raleigh 753?!)
There are a few threads on paint finishers/resprays on Retrobike already

+ 1 re other comments about would have to be a frame set worth that kind of money , i used a local powder coaters and a frame sand blaster they recomended and had 2 frames done for a total of £75 all in , results were very good , and would use again no problems

A customer of mine asked me to post a Vitus glued frame of to them. Mercian had told the customer, yes they could strip and paint the frame without destroying the glue that holds it together. So the customer asked me to dismatle the bike and box it up and post. I did what I was asked. He then got a call from Mercian saying now the workshop have looked at it they won't paint it or even strip it. It took then another two weeks to post it back. So this chap has spent £20+ on posting a frame to Derby and back + the cost of dismantling the bike all for nothing.

So I don't rate Mercian much because if this farse.
