Memory Map and Garmin Edge 305 and Training Centre

Hi all I havent used this software (or my Edge) for a few years.

I cant remember how I used to "load" the routes I had recorded on a bike ride on to Memory Map.

Can anyone help jog my memory!

If it's like the newer ones, it's a case of plugging it in to a computer, and copying the map file into a specific folder on the device. Reminds me I should sell my one as I've upgraded.

yes I had it plugged in usb but I cant see it on the pc in "my docs" XP

It won't be in my docs, will.show as an external device. Being an older os, you may need to install a driver for the Garmin to be picked up.

I meant to say My Computer!!

It is connected to my PC ok as on Memory Map there is a red dot showing the current position of the GPS.

there is a chance that I have used the CD from my forerunner!

Once I crack this I will update here - for the record.

But for now these drivers dont work for the Edge 305 ( to upload courses to MM)
