I think these must have been launched when I was falling out of love with MTBing so they completely passed me by.

I have recently come upon a pair and they appear to be luverly, are they?

I'm not looking for a valuation by the way, just info!!

I've just put a pair on a bike I'm building. They look nice and run smoothly but I believe that they had trouble with axles snapping.

I'm spending this weekend riding in Wales so that should be a pretty good test for them.

As an addendum to the 'axle' comment. Chain reaction do sell spare axles for them for about £25, so its not the end of the world if something does go wrong.

I think that they use sealed cartridge bearings aswell which are pretty commony available so future servicing should be a doddle.
