Mavic 1973-2003 Tour de France Anniversary Model Car (1of43)

Hi,

I was lucky enough to get this from somebody at mavic a few months back now. But need the money for more important things.

Basically its as the title says a -
Mavic 1973-2003 Tour de France Anniversary Model Car
As you can see from the pictures, it is in brand new condition, it has never been out of the box. And the protective wrapping put on it when made is still intact.

There where only 43 of these made. And as the last picture shows, it is the first of 43.

I managed to find one of these on eBay (in another country) a few weeks ago, and it sold around the £250 mark. So these are rare, and could be worth an awful lot some day.

I am not sure on an exact price, so please make me an offer. I am more than happy to listen.

Sorry I didn't put on a price.

I suppose as I have seen one go for around the £250 mark, I would be looking for about £200 posted. But please make any offers.

I have never seen another one of these, apart from the ebay one. So I wasn't sure what to ask.

Are you sure 1/43 isn't the scale?

It's a nice object and if you find the right buyer,....

If you don't, my coffers don't stretch to more then £20.....

1/43 is the scale. Common in die-cast car models.

They wouldn't print 43 special boxes.

Did you just surmise it was a limited edition because of that number, or did someone at Mavic tell you?
