Marzocchi MX Comp Air oil

Hi Guys,

Can anyone enlighten me as to the weight of oil required and what volume. Not sure if this is measured by volume or air gap? I believe that these are about 83mm travel.

I need to mess about to get them to work with my skinny whippet of a son and would like some base figures to work from.

Cheers

Barry

Cheers,

I had looked at that but couldn't see anything about oild quantity. Loads on air pressure but then maybe I'm being thick

:(

id just swap the oil for 5wt and try lower air pressures to start with before you mess with oil heights/amounts..

the oil heights are generally only altered to make the fork ramp up more or less towards the end of the travel on the fork..

for example you may be better off running a lower pressure in the fork to give small bump sensitivity for the lighter weight rider

but then increasing the oil height/amount slightly to give more of a rising rate to the end of the travel so you dont blow through the travel all in one go on an unexpected big hit and risk bottoming out the fork hard..

Thanks,

I'll take that on board and have a play. He is so light that a hard bottoming is pretty unlikely !!

Thanks again
