I'm mortified about this but cest le vie as they say in France.
I've just bought the following frame and forks on Ebay and when I got the forks home and Googled them, I realised they had 100mm travel not 80mm as I had thought they would. This meant that they're useless to me, which I'm totally gutted about. So my loss, is your gain
All prices include postage to mainland UK (not highlands or Islands) and payment by normal Paypal not gift. Please register interest here, followed by PM, thanks.
2000 Marzocchi Bomber Z3 Flylight 100. 100mm travel ( ), 190mm steerer. Cosmetically these forks are in brilliant condition, there is minimal wear on the lowers, no marks on the stantions and the arch has absolutely no movement. they also pass the push test and squelch like all bombers should with no egress of oil. They also come with a Hope head doctor (I think that's what it is) insert and top cap. I'm after £42 posted for these or £32 picked up in Brighton/Heathfield area. NOW SOLD.
Next is a Schwinn Moab frame it's a medium, so 16.5 inches C to C and 19 inches C to T. The Top tube measures 22 inches C to C. The frame is in really great condition, there is minimal chain suck on the chain stays and some points where the paint has been touched up but only slightly. There are no dents or cracks and the frame seems to have a strange chainstay disc mount. I'm not 100% on weight, but the internet quotes 3.5lbs. It will come with an MBUK chainstay protector, Seatpost clamp, PUSH seatpost, Mart headset and smooth bottom bracket. I'm after £47 posted or £32 collected which I think is a bargain for the base of a really nice bike. NOW SOLD.
I would be happy to provide more pictures of either items, but won't be able to get them till tomorrow. If you want them posted I probably won't be posting them out till next week as I'll be off on Easter holidays Please feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to help!
