Sold Marin Team Titanium Frame

A Marin Team Titanium that’s out of long term storage. Unused with just a few minor marks from storage.

I think this is a ‘94 based on the polished finish but it seems to have a ‘95 head badge and even earlier Team Ti decals…

I think the previous owner removed the canti cable stop from the rear stays, see pics. There are neat stickers in the same place.

Measurements,
20.5” seat tube, centre to top
23” top tube, centre to centre
Frame only - BB, saddle, post, sear collar bolt, SRP bolts and headset not included.

It’s a beautiful Ti frame but too big for me, hoping a Marin fan can give it a good home.

That’s an early lightspeed frame

Given it’s not got two tone lugs and the downtube decals I would suggest it’s a 90/91.

Definitely the wrong head badge then! Early 90’s would make more sense actually based on the parts that were on it.

Yep. The headbadge, badge at the bottom of the Seatpost tube, the one on the cross stay are all later and non original.

The top tube main logo and the downtube could be originals.

Definitely earlier than 92

You could send the frame number to Lightspeed to be sure.

It’s too large for me otherwise I’d be all over it.

Bottom bracket looks like a Titec titanium too.

At £350 it’s a steal.

Thanks, really appreciate the info. I’m more of a retro Kona fan so found it tricky to place a value on this frame.

BB is Royce Ti and have it in mind for a, Brave Warrior build, but if it doesn’t fit I’ll DM you. Cheers

It is a steal, if I had the money I would take that in a blink.

I am looking for a flite so would you let me know what you would do it for but if not then don’t worry, I’m not the best for staying interested in splits

Last litespeed for sale here was £900? But you’ve also got the trouble of taking off the decals etc. I’m not as good at these things as @Matttymm
