Mate....sorry to say but I have to be honest....I recently bought a similar Pine Mountain(same year, cond, etc) for well under £100. Have to be realistic these days. they are not that rare. Another nice ol'Marin tho. :D

i'd like to go where your shopping if you found one for well under a 100, you'd only get a muirwoods for that kinda money normally, I did see a very rusty eldridge grade go on ebay for £90 collection only but that was a one off..

Middle range Marins such as the two bikes your selling rarely fetch big money, if you look at the eBay part you will see a near perfect original team Marin with pace only reached £280

Both appear in good condition but ultimately if the price is to high they will stay with seller

I have to agree with racing in that they maybe much higher than most will pay but caramac....the best way to price a bike is to use the ... How much is my xyz worth in the chat section and also completed sales on eBay

From there hopefully you will get a price that will work for a buyer

They appear in good condition so I wish you well on your sales

I agree with stylus totally. I got mine on the filthbay for the record. End of the day...if an item is sent to any auction, it is only worth what someone is willing to bid...not what a seller wants for it.....which I totally understand can be a kick in the c*nt, but if it is....keep it, its a great bike. Anyway, m off to the pub now.

It looks a beaut and is on the list of retro bikes I want but agree with others and think you'll struggle to shift it at that price. Another from the same year was listed the other day (not in quite as good condition but still very, very nice) and has not shifted at £250. Good luck with the sale and hope you get what you want for it. :D
