Marin Pine Mountain year help...NOW SPLITTING!

See to my eye the decals look similar to the 1990...The fonts that is. But the stem has a sharper angle like an 88/89....

Does look pre-90 but as others have said the 89 was light grey. Saying that, I've got a 89 MBUK with the team riders on Muirwoods neon Pine Mountains so who knows! Good score either way.

Yeah I'm struggling to find another that looks the same...I too have seen the light grey 89 version but not black....hmmm interesting!

I can't see it being earlier then 89 when I think about it as I've never seen such an early Marin with the classis forks/bar/stem colour matched :?

I've always been on the look out for the neon yellow Pine Mountains I mentioned above but have never seen one except in the mag.

Check the 3RD number on the frame around bottom bracket. This will give you the year ending, eg "1" will be 1991
