Pretty sure it's an '88. I've got a '87/88 model (87 colour with 88 chainstay U-Brake) - I've just posted some pics in the Marin thread if interested. It's a really comfy ride!

If this is your size and you like older Marins, I suggest you jump on it. Ones this age don't come along that often (unless I was unlucky as was looking for ages). There's also a frame on eBay at the moment with a stuck seatpost if feeling adventurous!

Yes, it's an 88, I have one the same but with 'patina' paintwork!

I was going to list it on ebay this weekend, but will now wait until this other one has been sold.
