For me splatter paint is one of the hallmarks of retro mtbs.
And I thought Kona and GT were the kings of splashed on colour....
Little did I know that over the channel Marin had eschewed their Zoltane shackles and were Pollocking it up big time for our French and German brothers!
So when this came up for sale here as a frame, forks, stem and bars, well it was love at first sight and I had to have it.
First I built it up with bits i hade knocking about, but now its pretty much to spec - M550 Deore LX with DX STIs. Consumables are period correct rarther than catalogue so its has ODIs, a Turbo and Tioga Psychos.
It's 19.5 centre to centre, 20.5 centre to top. Top tube is 22.
All fettled and a nice bike to ride with an amazing paint job, which is pretty unique in the UK.
£200 posted, £175 collected. Located in St Albans, Northampton and Macclesfield are also options!
