Magura HS33 - rear facing ok?

I've these old HS33's on an ebike conversion but want to go back to the original rigid forks. Those forks have rear facing studs.

Looks to me like the HS33's can be mounted rear facing but would like confirmation. Is that ok?

Don't see any reason why that should have an impact. Surely it's still designed to take the stresses similarly to a front facing mount setup? I'd go for it if they fit.

Yes it’ll be fine, I had maguras fitted on some Pace RC35 forks with rear facing brake bosses, using the “normal” style magura brake mounts.
Just double check the hose routing and clearance for brake booster plate.
And they’re even more of a faff to set up in reverse

Ditto, work fine on RC36...
Rear facing brakes are used all the time on rear wheels!
