After spending way too much on some modern stuff, I have no money left to buy a frame to fit the modern stuff too, and have seen one I want so need to raise some funds. Having to let some nice bits go sadly, and first on the block is my collection of thumbies.
XT top caps - £10
Pictured below with the DX thumbies. Not in bad shape at all, certainly wouldn't hesitate using them myself, and I'm a little picky.

Absolutely mint set of XT thumbies. Nos top caps, excellent mounts etc. Was saving these but if there is interest, I could take some pics and see where we go.
As mentioned, I am keen to move these on so have priced them at what I think is a very attractive and lower than usual level. If you disagree, let me know as I am trying to raise funds quickly so you never know, I may be open to offers. Speaking of offers, I can promise postage today if you pay before the post office shuts and it gives me enough time to package them up safely.

Great condition, non-original bolts (though imho are nicer as sit flush with the bracket body). Top caps are in great nic too (possibly one is NOS, I can't remember now). Brackets have faded slightly, but an easy fix if you are bothered by it.

Excellent condition, NOS top caps. Original bolts (though a couple do show signs of surface rust, but easily cleaned and/or replaced.

Great condition again, non-original bolts (see above). Top caps are in great shape, the only issue is with one clamp, the bolt has sheared off so will need removing. I don't have any easy-outs or I would have done this myself. Previous owner has had a go with a drill, but not made a mess of it so I don't expect there to be any issues with the thread once the stuck bolt is removed.
SOLD DX (Set 4) - £15 posted (25 with XT top caps) - NOW £10, or £20 with XT caps
Functionally fine, though the top cap is missing from the rear thumby and the clamps need tidying up as a little rusty (again, easy as pie if you wanted to go down that route). Barrel adjusters are missing, I have found one that whilst not original, works, I think it may have come from a rear mech, but could be wrong. Fool your friends with some XT top caps for an extra £10.

Some spare bits and bobs from broken shifters. Might be something useful to fix up your thumbies, such as some nice enough top caps and a mount, plus lever bodies, covers and various internal bits.
