Another official has just been along to open the gate for the aforementioned tanker to get on and said it will NOT open before 9:00.

I am jealous, I wanted to get there early, enjoy the build up, pitch my tent and then relax.

Instead I shall be packing my gear at midnight tonight if not later, filling the boot with stuff I don't need and forgetting the things I do, and then arriving with seconds to spare before my ride

Next year if I am allowed on the 'team' I shall get there early
