it's late notice i know but if any of you are aware of the tweed run that occured in london, some guys on lfgss have organised a social ride up north...
The plan is that on Saturday, 4th September we will meet up at Sheffield Train Station by 10am, earlier if everyone is there before.
We'll start rolling out through Sheffield and up to Ringinglow before tracking Stanage Edge as far as Bamford and then pick up the main road into Hope for a bite to eat at the Woodbine Cafe.
After that we'll head through Castleton and up Winnats Pass before heading over to Chapel en-le Frith for lunch. Nice little cafe with a pub adjacent.
From there it's a nice rolling decent to Whalley Bridge before the final climb over Black Hill and down to Disley, along the A6 to Hazel Grove, up Ollerton road and down Marple Road into Stockport for beer, pie, maybe a little carousing. Hoping to get to Stockport by about 4pm at the latest, probably before.
