There were a few variations of the above in the Peugeot ranges of that time, with different paintjobs, different groupsets and offered with either curved or straight-bladed Cr-Mo forks, but essentially the same main frame. Is anyone able to help with either of the questions below?
1) Did Peugeot quote frame sizes as c-c or c-t in their brochures? I've been offered a 57cm one at a nice price but in need of TLC, if c-c sizing it would be bang on for me; c-t may be a bit small.
2) Seatpost diameter - 27.2mm seems obvious, but French builders do seem to have a liking for odd sizes. Does anyone know which diameter is a correct fit? AFAIK seatpost clamps on these frames are conventional, no grub-screw weirdness etc. needing a flat spot on the post.
Thanks in advance,
David
