Good eye. I sold that bike last spring. I wonder if it went out that way.

anyway. forgive my ignorance on these modern GT machines with disc brakes etc, whats the oversized BB shell all about.

the bb moves inside the shell as the rear end goes up and down

all very silly

The BB sits in the swingarm pivot which is what make the whole affair look so big. The purpose being that the chain tension doesn't alter as the suspension does its thing. (I may be talking out of my hat, if so acept my profound apologies.)

What a load of cock ....

Last 40 seconds would have done... I've read comments about I drive but never bothered before to join the dots up and find out more.
On balance it looks like a good idea, and simple .... So why is it poop !
