Wanted Large steel retro MTB frame (EU / Sweden)

Hi everyone,

Built a retro ride for my friend as a present for being a new father - lovely Specialized Hardrock - but it snapped at the rear ds dropout somehow.

So now looking for a retro steel mtb frame in a large size (he’s 186cm) preferably with canti mounts and a 1 inch headtube. The existing fork is fine, so could be frame only.

Based in Gothenburg Sweden, or could pay postage within EU (to avoid any UK fees of shenanigans)

Quite a common failure mode.
Often brought about by PO riding with broken axle or wrong OLN, sometimes the dropout was just a little too brittle, (and the brazing may have weakened it) right at the stress riser.

Thanks - pretty sure it was the right axle width in it - but could have well been ridden with something wider by the previous owner.
