Perhaps, but the auction hasn't finished yet.
I just sold my Lava Dome for £150, I'd built it up on a bare frame from eBay that I had bought for the P2s. When I added up the cost it went something like this: (Prices from cheapest eBay equivalents)

Set of LX wheels with Mavic rims, with tyres and tubes, £55
P2 fork, £50
XT rear mech £20
front mech £10
Set of LX v-brakes M5750s £40
LX Shifters £30
Seat £10
Seat post £5
Handlebars and stem £10
Cables £20
BB £10
Headset £10

Total £270 just for the parts, the frame gets thrown in for free!

Luckily all those parts were in my garage waiting for a home.

Of course I had the pleasure of the few days of building it! and the buyer sent me a text saying how pleased he was with the bike!

Two weeks ago I dithered for an hour or so before I replied to a marketplace ad for a 93 in original very reasonable condition for £30.
Right size and only ten minutes drive away as well.
Still annoyed with myself.

For £30 and all original parts that is a real bargain! The expense comes when you buy a bare frame.
