Kona splatter

Hope some one could verify this splatter Kona year. I found this on Vancouver craigslist and the owner said "this was one of the first custom splatter colour combo.

Nice, could you show more pics of the frame? will be around '89/'90 thats when they offered the splatter custom option.

very nice, does it have the rear brake noodle atached, its hard to see in the photo. look forward to seeing progress on this

Seatpost clamp at the rear, regular Prestige tubing; that's an 88/89 I think. Rear u-brake?

I think that's the first pre 1990 custom splatter I've seen. Very

The forks will likely be date-stamped on the steerer with the crown race size.

Serial number looks like 'T88' on the picture. My '88 model had a 27.0mm JIS crown-race my '90 model has a 26.4mm ISO crown race.

I'd say 88/89 model year.
