Done a few builds/threads on this over the years.
Been wanting to build it light, fast and simple.
Cranks are temporary (Atlas are a bit heavier than I've got in mind!), but just wanted to get it put together today, so here she is.

-The bars don't look quite as crazy big in real life. They're the wider and higher of the Nitto range (I think). Quite the sweep!
-I've got a Gunsmoke headset in my drawer at work, but keep forgetting to bring it home.
-Frame has plenty of patina, so been considering a refurb at some point. Won't have time for ages, so just built it as is.

-Straightened stem
-Raised seat.
-Brakes still need setting up properly, but I'm kind of enjoying the "modulation" of poorly set up v's. Although, you do occasionally get that random "bite", just when you're not expecting it.
-Fitted "dadbike" hamax bracket.
-Swapped to flats from spuds.
-Swapped skewers for blue ones. Not sure how that sits with my OCD, as I've a Gunsmoke seatclamp on there and I've a Gunsmoke headset to fit. I do like the blue though. Which is weird, but not. I love blue, in general, but I've not put blue ano on a bike before. No that's a lie. But generally, I wouldn't... But that's probably a rule for modern bikes. Or maybe I'm drunk.
But anyway, cheers @W.Ford . Tough crowd otherwise 😜

The blue ties in with the graphics so it work's in my eyes. It's pretty quiet in the post 98 section so I wouldnt see the lack of replies as a reflection on your bike, not many responses to my threads either.

I've got to dig out the spare hamax bracket from the loft today. it's what all the cool kids are running these days.

Needed to dump the car downstream for the annual "Gentleman's Regatta" (inflatables, idiocy etc), so took the opportunity to break out the old boy. Really pleased with the riding position. It's always been at bit small, as at 6'2", I should've had a 20" frame, rather than 19".
The big old bar kind of sorts it out. Maybe the reach is a big short, but I don't care any more. Just look at it. 😊
I've changed my mind on refurbing the frame too. I've grown to appreciate the patina of 23 years of ownership from new.
I wonder if I'd told my 16 year old self that I'd still be riding around on it when I was nearly 40, not to mention taking my son to nursery on it, what I'd have said!
And to think I very nearly sold it on this very site about 10 years ago!

So I sold the smoke and dart tyres a while back, as I needed the funds and had built up the explosif, which I've ridden pretty much non stop since, in it's 2 guises.
A mate gave me his old city jets the other day and I knew they'd go well in here. Just what it needed tbh.

Even riding it around, just following my 2yr old on his balance bike, it's way too small, even with a daft handlebar. I'll have another go doing a couple of commutes on it, but it's possible I'll strip and sell off most of this.

Hmm, I'll see if I can dig out the deets. I bought it from an awesome site, owned by a forum member here... I believe it's bicyclist.cc , so have a root around on there. It's much wider than anything else that I found by nitto

Edit - it's the B802
