Hi, I also found one in Montréal at the beginning of the summer. I restored it a few months ago, but just found out about this registry. The bike is in good condition, no cracks. There is unfortunately a dent on the top tube, but it does not worry me too much since it is not that big and that I won't be riding it very hard. Still keeping an eye on it!

This appears to be a 1997 model by Enigma, size 19", serial no. KU9702050. Color is blue.

Let me know if you need anything else, this is the first time I use this forum (in fact, I created this account to add my bike to the registry!) 20230602_160027.jpg

Wow.

Absolutely wow.

Just look at that colour!!!

Pip would be flipping his lid looking at this. Thank you for registering and sharing this absolute stunner. I'll add it to the list later this week.

Added:

KU9702050 19" 1997 cable routing, blue 1997 decals - metallic Blue (similar to 1997 Kilauea SE) - welded '97 February number 50 (Guigui58 )

Lovely to have a new sequential entry, so we now have #50, 51 and 52 from the February batch.

Wind up the klaxon, we have another 97 Ku! Two in a month is unheard of! Very sadly, and predictably, it's cracked at the headtube, which just emphasises how rare and special @Guigui58 example is.

Just look at that paint scheme. The new owner says it's more gold, but that very much is green/gold, especially in contrast with the yellow flame edging. I've never seen this combo before - absolutely stunning!

I've asked the owner to confirm the last 2 digits as they're out of shot, but it's defo from the 97 February run of Altitude Ku's. 360086847_10160616047140202_5275249073678181906_n.jpg 361589959_10160616047160202_6336409994119060799_n.jpg 361653186_10160616047305202_5534500013473177638_n.jpg 361644580_10160616047235202_4017460435042312106_n.jpg 361908736_10160616045770202_6979523304432648975_n.jpg 361900111_10160616047250202_6727490423957091943_n.jpg

Confirmed. This is the 8th recorded 1997 Ku.
