This bike has some history on the forum, owned by a few members. The frame has been in my possession for nearly 2 years but finally repainted (twice actually, the first an atrocious powder coat) but the builder Chris Marshall has done a lovely wet job.

It’s a 1680g frame so it’s built up to be light, the threaded Mudshark fork has been replaced with a lighter, Ahead 753 lookalike. modernish wheels, velocity aerohead rims on bitex hubs. 9 speed dura ace DT shifters & 6600 chainset. Nitto bar and custom sprayed syntace force 808 stem.

The seatpost looks a bit odd, so a silver or ti alternative will be installed ultimately.

Very happy with the fit and the build.

Thanks for the kind comments. I haven’t weighed it yet, but mentally adding up the components should put it in the 7-8kg range

Replacing the 25c tyres with 23c, adding latex tubes, and perhaps a lighter chainset could maybe save another 500g but it’s light enough for me :)

I’d love to find a slim topline style chainset, or tune Bigfoot, Stronglight iron light or similar to really set it off.
