Kona Cinder Cone

Hi All,

Posted on another thread however been directed to 98+.

I am hoping somebody might be able to help me out. I have acquired a Kona Cinder Cone MTB and i am wondering If anyone might be able to tell me some more about this bike, what it might be worth if i was to move it on or if it is something i should get my teeth in to and start a project (if time allows me).

I have only taken up mountain biking in the last 18 months and I currently have a 2017 Voodoo Hoodoo. I therefore don't have too much knowledge on older bikes.

The overall condition is good however it could could do with some work on the gears and the brakes.

Would really love some expert knowledge, views/opinions and selling price for this bike.

I would say £25 maybe £30 at a push

2004 model I think. Worth more than £30 even if it does need some TLC. Mid range 27 speed spec with cable discs and Rock Shox......I'd value at £80 -£100.

I'd agree with £80-100, perhaps I'm trying to make myself feel better about my own recent purchases though!
