Retro Newbie
Getting rid of this Kona - its up on ebay too if anyones interested in a restoration project. Great bike with only superficial wear - some rusty patches & scuffed decals. Apart from that it rides great. Get in touch if you’re interested, have Qs or would like more images.

Had this bike from new. Still rides well, its quick & quiet - no creaks. Great bike for a lite restoration project. Gears shift well, indexed. I’ve given it a clean & cleaned/lubed the chain & cassette too. Theres some superficial patchy rust
& the decals are pretty scuffed - all visible in pics. Apart from that its in great condition. Everything on it is original except for the saddle, bar grips & Shimano V brakes (which were added shortly after purchase)

Project Two forks
Velocity stem
Shimano DX V-brakes
Shimano LX front & rear derailleur
Shimano Deore over-bar thumb shifters
Shimano LX hubs
3x7sp mech - 21speed

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
You have it up for the same price on ebay. For arguments sake, if it were to sell for your asking price less the fees your sale would come out at about £191. Which would suggest you are prepared to accept something in the region of this figure. In the interests of goodwill would it not be better / polite to reduce your price accordingly for this site, as there are no fees?

There are others who can cast a more expert eye than mine, but the rust on the seatstay brake bridge looks a bit more than superficial.

You would lose money on eBay compared to here and there is the added benefit that it goes to a member on here so it will be going into good hands.

And yes just looked a little closer and the rust looks quite serious, but nothing some tlc wouldn’t fix I think.

The 94 decals are my favourite imo
